Solo Leveling Episode 3 Recap
In Solo Leveling Episode 3, titled “It’s Like a Game,” Jinwoo regained consciousness in the hospital with no memory of how he arrived there. Woo Jinchul visited him, updating him on the casualties and survivors of the Double Dungeon. Examination of Jinwoo’s Mana indicated that his reawakening had not progressed adequately.
During his hospital stay, Jinwoo’s sister Jinah and her friend Han Songyi paid him a visit. Simultaneously, Choi Jon-In enlisted Cha Hae-In to lead a Raid team. Jinwoo stumbled upon a unique screen visible only to him, indicating his status as a player within a system. This system resembled a video game, featuring daily quests, rewards, penalties, an inventory, a shop, and leveling up.
It was disclosed that Jinwoo’s mother was afflicted with a condition known as Eternal Slumber, a consequence of the Gates’ appearance. Joo-Hee visited Jinwoo in the hospital, discovering him in the midst of a run. Following this, Jinwoo was rewarded with a dungeon key, prompting him to face various creatures in the dungeon.
What To Expect From Solo Leveling Episode 4?
Episode 3 of Solo Leveling returned to a measured pace, adapting 2.5 chapters from the Webtoon (chapters 11-12 with a few pages from chapter 13). The forthcoming fourth episode is projected to sustain this pace, encompassing the remainder of chapter 13 and chapters 14-20. This section will portray Jinwoo’s victory over the dungeon boss, highlighting the advancements in his training.
The preview for the episode, titled “I’ve Gotta Get Stronger,” hints that A-1 Pictures might introduce additional anime-original scenes to showcase more of the main cast before their canonical introduction. However, Solo Leveling Episode 4 is expected to formally introduce Yoo Jinho and Hwang Dongsuk to the anime, aligning with the original storyline.
While Jinho was previously featured in the anime-original segment of the first episode, Dongsuk is yet to make an appearance. The upcoming episode is also set to offer insights into the inner workings of the Hunter Society and delve into the mindset of Sung Jinwoo.
