Ready or Not S Rank

In 2024 if you’re also aiming for that famous Ready or Not S rank in every mission is the ultimate goal, I’ve got you! The tactical first-person shooter is all about finesse, strategy, and precision. Lucky for you, I’ve got the lowdown on how to secure that elusive S rank and become a true elite in the game.

Adopting a Non-Lethal Mindset

To kick things off, ditch the trigger-happy mentality. The key to snagging an S rank is adopting a non-lethal approach. Killing suspects or civilians is a big no-no. Instead, arm yourself with non-lethal gear like beanbag guns, flashbangs, gas, stingers, tasers, and pepper spray. Subdue suspects without resorting to lethal force, and don’t forget those anti-flash goggles if you’re into flashbangs.

Non-Lethal GearDescription
Beanbag GunsEffective for incapacitating suspects
FlashbangsTemporarily blinds and disorients enemies
GasUseful for controlling the situation
StingersNon-lethal distraction devices
TasersElectric shock for subduing suspects
Pepper SprayDisables suspects with an irritating spray

After subduing suspects non-lethally, hit that ‘F’ key to command them to surrender peacefully.

Collect All Weapons

Consider yourself not just a SWAT officer, but a weapon hoarder. Secure all dropped weapons from suspects as evidence. They drop weapons when they surrender or meet their demise. Think of it as trick-or-treating, but instead of candy, you get felonious evidence. Be cautious, though, as some suspects might pull a sneaky move with a second weapon after surrendering.

Completing Objectives – Hard and Soft

Sure, completing hard objectives is crucial, but if you’re eyeing that S rank, soft objectives are your ticket. These are secret objectives scattered around the map, not initially marked on your tablet. Need more on the difference between hard and soft objectives? Check out our guide [link].

Ensure Survival

Remember the Bee Gees? “Staying alive” is not just a disco anthem; it’s your anthem for securing that S rank. Keep yourself and your teammates alive. Strategic positioning, effective communication, and tactical awareness are your best buddies in this mission.

Understanding the Morale System

Ready or Not operates on an NPC morale system. Decrease morale using non-lethal means such as Less Than Lethal (LTL) weapons, tactical grenades, and shouting. Check out the impact of door breaching methods on suspect morale in the table below.

Door Breaching MethodMorale Impact
Kick Down the DoorModerate Negative Impact
Shotgun BlastSignificant Negative Impact
C2 ChargeVariable Impact (Can be Lethal)

Equipping the Squad

Arm the entire squad with non-lethal gear, and make the pointman your non-lethal hero. Equip them with a taser and shield for optimal incapacitation.

The S Rank Challenge

Achieving an S rank in Ready or Not is, no walk in the park. It demands completing all objectives without any deaths, including both suspects and police officers. The use of LTL weapons is crucial to avoid killing targets.

Sum Up!

In a nutshell, if you’re chasing that elusive S rank, go non-lethal, collect all weapons, ace both hard and soft objectives, ensure survival, understand the morale system, and equip your squad wisely. Go ahead, become the Ready or Not S-rank legend this game deserves!
