However, the recent update, unveiled as part of the eagerly anticipated Title Update 1.68 on February 20, pulled the plug on the video editing suite for the older console builds, reserving this sought-after feature exclusively for the cutting-edge hardware of today.
The 1.006.002 patch, unleashed with this update, ushered in the removal of the Rockstar Editor and its replay capabilities from the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
