Enthusiastic fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Bleach TYBW Part 3. Following the conclusion of Bleach TYBW Part 2, the anime confirmed the production of a third part, but as of now, the release date is only set for 2024, with no specific timeframe provided for the upcoming season. This prompts speculation about the potential inclusion of Ginjō and other Fullbringers in Bleach TYBW Part 3.
Moreover, there is a notable absence of certain characters in the series. In the initial part of the anime, Ganju Shiba returned to the Great Kūkaku Training Hall, accompanied by former members of Xcution, a clandestine organization of Fullbringers. Their purpose was to prepare for the imminent battle with the Wandenreich. Regrettably, since then, the three Fullbringers have been conspicuously absent from the anime. This raises the question of whether Ginjō and other Fullbringers will make an appearance in Bleach TYBW Part 3.
Will Ginjo Appear in Bleach TYBW Part 3?
The likelihood of Kūgo Ginjō making an appearance in Bleach TYBW Part 3 seems slim. Despite assumptions that he, along with the other two Fullbringers, Giriko and Tsukishima, was gearing up for a confrontation with the Wandenreich at the Great Kūkaku Training Hall after their last appearance in the anime’s initial part, the manga reveals that they won’t be engaging with Yhwach or any of the Sternritters.
In the Bleach manga’s Chapter 681, Kūgo Ginjō, Shukuro Tsukishima, and Yukio Hans Vorarlberna resurface. Given that the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc concludes with Chapter 686, the Fullbringers are expected to reappear in the anime near its conclusion.
The Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War arc is slated for a release in four parts, making it highly probable that Kūgo Ginjō may not feature in Bleach TYBW Part 3.
However, there remains a possibility for Kūgo Ginjō’s appearance in Bleach TYBW Part 3 if Studio Pierrot opts to animate filler scenes involving the Fullbringers. Alternatively, the studio may choose to animate the remaining arc within Bleach TYBW Part 3 itself. Though the likelihood of such a scenario is minimal.
Why Does Kūgo Ginjō Appear in Bleach Chapter 681?
In Bleach Chapter 681, Kūgo Ginjō makes a return to fulfill his obligation to Kurosaki Ichigo. Following Yhwach’s retrieval of his powers from his “children,” Ichigo is left defenseless with a shattered Zanpakuto. Inoue’s attempts to heal Ichigo and restore his Bankai prove futile since Yhwach, utilizing his Schrift Almighty, nullified these efforts.
In a crucial moment, Yukio arrives at the Soul King Palace alongside Ginjō and Tsukishima. Upon their arrival, Tsukishima plunges his blade into Ichigo, who is already weakened and depleted. Ichigo is initially perplexed by Tsukishima’s actions. However, Tsukishima and Ginjō clarify that they have come to repay their debt to him.
Leveraging his power “Insert Presence,” Tsukishima implants a past into Ichigo’s consciousness where neither he nor his sword fell victim to Yhwach’s Almighty. Consequently, Orihime can successfully restore Ichigo’s Bankai, enabling him to rejoin the battle alongside Renji Abarai.
