We might get One Punch Man Season 3 soon. Here’s what we know about what’s coming next for Saitama and Genos.
From starting small in 2015 to becoming very popular, One Punch Man has won the hearts of many fans.
The Season 3 of the show has been highly expected since Season 2 ended in 2019 because of its interesting universe, lovable characters, and funny jokes.
In the middle of everything is Saitama – a hero with really strong power who can beat any enemy with just one punch. However, even though he has been training very hard and gained super strong muscles (but lost his hair), he still feels unsatisfied and wants a really tough challenge.
One Punch Man Season 3 Release Date
As of February 2024, we don’t know when One Punch Man Season 3 will be released.
But, since the first episode of Season 2 came out on April 10, 2019, and there was a four-year break between One Punch Man Seasons 1 and 2, fans think the show might come back in early to mid-2024.
There are more hints that suggest Season 3 might be on TV later this year. In January, voice actor Kaito Ishikawa shared on X (formerly Twitter) a list of projects he will be in this year, including One Punch Man.
But, because MAPPA is having problems making the show, and people are worried about Jujutsu Kaisen, fans will have to wait to find out how One Punch Man will do.
One Punch Man Season 3 Plot
The announcement of One Punch Man Season 3 in August 2022 brought joy to fans, accompanied by a sneak peek from the character designer, Chikashi Kubota. While details regarding the release date and the studio involved remain undisclosed, there’s anticipation surrounding what lies ahead.
Though the exact storyline remains unknown, educated speculation can be made. The initial two seasons adapted the first 85 chapters, equivalent to approximately 16 volumes, of the manga. Therefore, Season 3 is likely to pick up from the conclusion of Season 2, where Saitama defeats Elder Centipede, and Garou is apprehended. The narrative is expected to delve deeper into the Monster Association arc from the manga.
