starrupture fast travel

Starrupture’s vast world, Arcadia-7, can feel like a sprawling maze of deserts, ruins, and hostile biomes. Long treks between outposts drain your stamina, strain your inventory, and put you in harm’s way. Fortunately Starrupture fast travel, the game offers fast travel, which you unlock by completing a major objective, allowing you to traverse the planet in seconds instead of hours.

In this in-depth guide, you’ll learn exactly how to unlock fast travel, where to find the teleporter technology, and strategies to make your journey safer and faster.

What Is Fast Travel in StarRupture?

Fast travel in StarRupture appears only after completing a major objective, powering up the enigmatic Forgotten Engine. Activating it unlocks the ability to craft Teleporters. After crafting teleport pads, you can place them at your bases and instantly warp between locations.

Where to Unlock Fast Travel: The Forgotten Engine

The Forgotten Engine stands as a massive, derelict planetary machine visible from far away on Arcadia-7. Activating it gives you access to teleporter technology.

Gather Preparation Materials

Before heading to the engine, craft a Power Cell, a high-tier consumable that powers locked terminals and doors. You need components like Electronics, Chemicals, and Data Points, making this a late-game objective. Stock up on healing items, buffs, and strong weapons. The Forgotten Engine hosts hostile enemies that spawn continuously once you activate critical systems.

Step-by-Step Fast Travel Unlock Walkthrough

Step 1: Reach and Enter the Forgotten Engine

Head to the center-north of the map where the turbine-like structure looms. From the northern side, jump through the broken air vent near the fan. Use your Power Cell to open the airlock terminal and enter the engine.

Step 2: Navigate to the Logistics Floor

Move through chambers and corridors to reach the Main Engine floor. Follow the path to the Logistics floor, where enemies attack aggressively. Activate the generator by clearing tumors and obstacles to restore power to deeper areas.

Step 3: Access the Control Center

After restoring power, return to the Main Engine floor. Interact with the Control Center console, which unlocks after powering the generator. Take the keycard inside to access higher-tech areas.

Step 4: Craft the Engine Central Core

Use the keycard to reach the Tech Stations floor. Clear enemies and enter the Tech Lab. Gather core materials, including Stabilizers, Generators, and Coils, and assemble the Engine Central Core.

Step 5: Activate the Engine and Unlock Teleporter Tech

Return the crafted Engine Central Core to the Control Center console. Insert it to start the final activation sequence. Defeat waves of enemies, and the game unlocks the teleporter technology. You can now craft teleport pads for fast travel across Arcadia-7.

How Fast Travel Works After Unlock

After unlocking teleporter tech, craft and place Teleporter pads at any player base. Give each pad a unique name to select it easily from the teleport list. Fast travel now becomes your primary method to move long distances across Arcadia-7 without losing time or resources. Place teleport pads near high-resource areas or strategic bases to minimize long treks.

Master Starrupture Fast Travel

Prepare well before unlocking fast travel: gear up for tough combat, carry enough inventory space, and consider co-op play to handle enemies and gather materials faster. While exploring, pick up rare schematics to boost crafting, though they aren’t required. Once unlocked, fast travel saves hours, lets you teleport instantly between bases or resource hubs, and frees you to focus on exploration and progression across Arcadia-7.
